I told my son, “You can be a millionaire in college.”

Q: What do you want that feels impossible to you?

Coleman would crush Summer Sales.

It doesn’t matter what he sold, he will be the kid who goes away for the summer and comes back with tens of thousands of dollars in earned income.

I was thinking about this the other day and realized that I actually wanted to believe something even higher for him.

I said, “I think you can be a millionaire in college.”

His response, “Yeah, I can.”

Now I’m going to ask you, friend, what is your mind offering you when I say this?

Are you thinking, “Cool! I can’t wait to see how he does it!”

Or do you have thoughts along the line of, “That’s not going to happen,” or “That would be nice but, come on, that’s not realistic.”

What you think matters.

What you believe matters.

Even when you have so much evidence to back up your current belief, you still get to choose what you are going to think.

It matters what you choose to believe because what we believe is what we create.

What we think is what we create.

What we speak is what we create.

What we consume is what we create.

Are you creating what you want to create?

If not, you can learn how to change that.

I was talking with my brand strategist about a graphic she created for my website.

It says: aligned decision-making + belief mindset = 100% balance

We were discussing the “100%” part.

Originally, it just said “balance.”

We explored adding a descriptive word like “more balance” or “better balance.”

But then I told her, “I can actually guarantee complete balance. 100% balance.”

Kind of stunned, she looked at me through the computer screen on our Zoom call and said, “Then you need to say that.”

Does this require you to wrestle a little bit with what I am saying?

You might think that it’s possible for someone else to create balance in their life but not you.

Not with your work. Not with your family. Not with your life.

But this is what I’m offering to you.

You.

You can have 100% balance.

I can promise this because balance doesn’t come from managing your calendar and your time.

Most people think it does.

Most people hyper-manipulate their schedule in order to create more balance.

Most people think that they have to drop something in order to create more balance.

Most people think they have to time-block their calendar better.

But that’s not how balance is created.

So, it’s for sure not how 100% balance is created.

When I teach my clients mind and emotional management strategies, their life completely changes.

We never look at their calendar, we only look at their minds.

We identify what they really value.

Then we ask, “What do I want to have happen here?”

Then we create the plan for how to make that happen.

And the plan centers around what they want to think and feel about their time.

What they want to think and feel about work-life balance.

What they want to think and feel about their relationships.

What they want to think and feel about every area of their life.

Understanding how to use our minds to create 100% balance is sustainable through every growth phase, every busy season, and every challenge you face.

I know that you can have 100% balance in your life.

I will believe it for you if you aren’t able to believe it for yourself yet.

Coleman will be a millionaire in college.

You will have 100% work-life balance, exactly the way you want it.

Sound a little far-fetched?

Does that feel a little crazy?

It is far-fetched to most humans on the planet.

It is crazy to most people.

But it’s not far-fetched to me.

It’s definitely not crazy to me, either.

I’ll believe it till you decide you want to believe it, too.

Q: What do you want that feels impossible to you?

Tell me in a message or reply to this email.

I’m in the business of believing impossible things and then creating them.

I’ll believe it for you till you’re ready to consider believing it yourself.

Sending love,

K
